R&R General Contracting offers consulting and project management for new residential and residential remodel. In addition, R&R General Contracting will perform all finish carpentry on any given job.
R&R General Contracting has over many years built more two hundred homes in Nevada County since 1996 and Mike Reed managed the construction of several hundred more prior to that as a Construction Manager and Superintendent for three different large Corporate Builders. In addition, Mike built three model home parks, one of which was the 1990 BIA Model home Park of the Year.
R&R General Contracting has evolved and re-invented itself over the past decade and a half as a result of economic conditions and has focused on not just building, but offering solutions to difficult situations.
We have qualified and professional people as part of an R&R General Contracting team that can do just about anything residential. Quality workmanship, top level performance and decades of experience is what R&R General Contracting brings to the table

R&R General Contracting was in the business of building homes for almost 20 years until the market stalled out in 2008. At that time we made a shift to remodeling and other specialty trades such as basement waterproofing and crawl space encapsulation. Over the years we have remodeled kitchens, bathrooms, great rooms, bedrooms, patios, decks, staircases, elevators and more. We are a small company that builds big and focuses on the important things that our clients care about.

Mike Reed began his construction management career in 1988 when he was awarded his Contractor's license. In 1989, he took his first executive position as a Contracts Administrator, advancing to the field as a superintendent, Construction Manager and eventually Project Manager. Since that time, he has been responsible for the construction of several hundred homes on various projects in the Sacramento Valley and the adjacent foothills.
